Careers at AGRANA
Model Careers
Growth and development result from change. As an internationally active group, AGRANA would like to see its personnel develop their potential and consequently promotes internal career opportunities.
For this reason, all vacancies are advertised within the Group via the internal job market on the group-wide intranet before being advertised externally. This provides all employees with the possibility of applying internally. The fact that around 60% of all existing management positions filled in the 2009|10 financial year were secured by internal candidates is proof that this approach works.
Johann Marihart, CEO AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG
"I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to support high performing people in our organisation. To obtain the appropriate recognition it is indispensable to become visible in the organisation, which is only possible by showing outstanding performance, extraordinary commitment and continuous personal learning. In this respect, AGRANA's top management will always support your development!"
Martina SUNDBÖE, HR Director Fruit
"I joined AGRANA 5 years ago as HR Development Manager. Since March 2008, I have held the position of HR Director Fruit. In this position, I have the possibility to shape the HR work of the Division Fruit together with my colleagues. I strongly believe that personnel development, especially talent development, is a significant factor of success for AGRANA in order to be able to face the challenges of the future. In my opinion, development is mainly a matter of individual initiative; however it needs to be a focus for the company and based on a systematic approach. I have always strived to develop myself, and AGRANA has supported me in doing so."
Agnieszka NAWROT, Head of Food Safety and Quality Management (Botkins, US)
"AGRANA, being a global company, creates possibilities to develop and share. 10 years at a Polish plant and almost 2 years in the US are good evidence of this. Every day is an opportunity to develop the quality-based culture within the team. Every day is an opportunity to learn and teach.
Where is the challenge? The challenge is not to waste opportunities. The challenge is to encourage interest in quality. The challenge is to remain interested in quality."
