AGRANA – Preliminary Results for the 2001/02 Financial Year
Date: 13.05.2002The Financial Statements for 2001/02 were drawn up applying IAS standards. The 2001/02 financial year ended on 28 February 2002 with the following results:

Seventy per cent of the increase in revenues, which advanced by € 82.6 million, was accounted for by the Austrian members of the Group and above all by the Sugar Division (6.7 percent growth), the Starch Division (12.7 percent growth) and from our activities in third-party products. Further restructuring, rationalization and cost optimization at every Group-member made an important contribution to the very satisfactory development of AGRANA’s profits.
The Annual Report and the Group’s final results will be detailed at the press conference to present the Financial Statements on 13 June 2002.
