GMO-free protein feed ingredient from Austrian production
ActiProt® (DDGS) is a regional and GMO-free protein feed ingredient from Austrian production. It is produced at the AGRANA biorefinery plant, in Pischelsdorf (Lower Austria), using wheat, triticale and maize.
With over 28 % of crude protein content and beneficial energy content, ActiProt® can be used as a feed ingredient for all types of livestock:
- Ruminants: it is a good source of energy and by-pass protein for ruminants.
- Swine: it can replace soybean and/or rapeseed meal, with simultaneous balancing of the amino acids.
- Poultry: up to 10 % of ActiProt® can be used in complete feed.

Due to its high palatability and crude protein content, ACTIPROT® is suitable in the nutrition for all types of livestock.
Usage in feed
ActiProt® contains at least 28 % crude protein in the fresh mass. The high proportion of rumen-stable protein (45% UDP), the particular palatability and a higher crude fat content, in contrast to soybean meal, characterise ActiProt® as an ideal source of protein for dairy and beef cattle. ActiProt® has a good shelf life. And also, crucially for many farmers, ActiProt® is accepted by all animals.
