WEIZITA is an organic native wheat starch (Triticum vulgare) formulated for personal-care applications. In compact surfactant bars and solid cleansers, WEIZITA® acts as an aesthetic modifier and binder that reduces dustiness, improves handfeel and supports stable bar integrity during use.
In emulsified systems, WEIZITA® provides light thickening, oil-binding and a matte, powdery skin-feel, enabling formulations with a more desirable sensory profile at moderate solids.

Formulation insights
Native wheat starch such as WEIZITA® typically shows lower peak viscosity than many other native starches. This allows formulators to achieve body and structure without excessive thickening. Viscosity and functional behavior are sensitive to thermal and mechanical history: faster heating promotes greater granular swelling and leaching, which raises viscosity, while cold-process and anhydrous routes retain a finer, powdery texture.
In personal care, this behavior is useful: controlled swelling and surface adsorption deliver oil-binding and matte effects in creams, and granular integrity supports structure and predictable disintegration in solid surfactant bars.
