Potato Protein
Potato protein is a high-quality, high-protein source, with one of the best amino acid profiles and high protein digestibility (95%). Its biological value is comparable to that of animal sourced high-protein ingredients such as fishmeal and milk powder. Therefore, it is one of the best plant-based alternatives to animal protein sources and is suitable for all animal feed rations, both for partial and complete replacement of the animal proteins.

Potato protein is a by-product of potato starch extraction from the AGRANA factory in Gmünd. The starch industry potatoes which are used are GMO-free and come from AGRANA contracted farms.
Due to its high nutrient availability, potato protein is an ideal feed component for young animals, especially in the rearing of piglets and calves. Furthermore, potato protein is a gluten-free, plant-based protein source with excellent properties for use in pet food and aquaculture. It is also suitable as an ingredient in allergen-free feed concepts, the demand for which, particularly in the pet sector, is steadily increasing.
