It leaves a soft, velvety touch, settles into a natural matte finish, smooths application and reduces stickiness and greasiness in richer formulations. Cooked in aqueous systems, the same starch builds texture and viscosity, so one ingredient covers both the sensory finish and natural-origin thickening.
