Guidelines, ratings and certifications

Sustainability, quality and responsible behaviour are firmly anchored at AGRANA.

Our products, processes and corporate structures are subject to regular checks through international certifications, verifications and audits.

Guidelines

Ratings

  • Ecovadis: AGRANA participates in the EcoVadis sustainability assessment, which covers environmental practices, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The results help us identify areas for further improvement.
  • CDP: AGRANA has participated in the Carbon Disclosure Project since 2021. By disclosing our environmental data, we contribute to greater transparency and climate action across the corporate sector.

Cer­ti­fic­a­tions

  • ISO 9001: Certified quality management systems are implemented at AGRANA sites to ensure consistent product quality and continuous improvement.
  • ISO 14001: Environmental management systems in accordance with ISO 14001 are currently being implemented at three AGRANA production sites to continuously improve environmental performance and ensure compliance with applicable legislation.
  • ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000: In addition to ISO 9001, AGRANA also implements food safety standards recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), including FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification)
  • ISO 37301/37001: Since 2022, AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG’s compliance management system has been certified according to ISO 37301 (compliance management) and ISO 37001 (anti-corruption management).
  • ISO 50001: A Group-wide energy management system in accordance with ISO 50001 supports continuous improvements in energy efficiency and contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
  • ISCC: AGRANA uses certification systems such as ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) for selected raw material flows, particularly in bioethanol production.
