For parents and apprentices

In terms of opportunities after the apprenticeship as well as in terms of safety at work – both factors are very important to us. We are therefore pleased that we are able to retain almost all apprentices in the company after the apprenticeship examination. For safe work, you will be equipped with the appropriate safety equipment and regularly trained.

Since the apprentices learn from our employees, teamwork is important in order to be able to pass on knowledge. Work is usually done in smaller teams, which creates a familiar working atmosphere. About 30 apprentices are currently being trained at AGRANA Stärke GmbH, about 40 apprentices at AGRANA Zucker GmbH and 2 apprentices at ARIC.

Since most of our trainers have completed an apprenticeship themselves, they can pass on their know-how to our apprentices. You can get an insight into the activities of a trainer at AGRANA in the following video by Andreas, trainer in the metal engineering apprenticeship.

Since we have several locations in Austria, we try to facilitate the exchange between the plants, for example through excursions and factory tours.

During the apprenticeship, various subject-related training courses are offered and used by our apprentices as well as various activities such as seminars.
