For the first nine months of 2011|12, AGRANA reports an increase in consolidated revenues compared to the prior year from approx. € 1,624 million to approx. € 1,952 million. The operating profit before exceptional items rose compared to the prior year from € 104.8 million to € 198.7 million. This growth was generated by the Sugar and Starch segments.
Due to this positive development in the first three quarters, AGRANA forecasts revenues of approx. € 2.5 billion for the full year 2011|12 and reaffirms its expectations of a significant improvement in earnings.
As scheduled, the Group will be publishing further details of the development of business and additional information on the various segments on 12 January 2012.
