The company has two production sites located in Vallo, Denmark, and Lipnik, Poland. They make roughly 20,000 metric tons of fruit juice and fruit juice concentrates a year for the food and beverage industries. Vallo Saft specializes in the manufacture of high-quality juices from berries, cherries and apples. It is one of Europe’s leading suppliers to industrial customers in this segment.
The company recorded revenues of roughly € 38 million with 100 employees during 2002.
This acquisition is a continuation of AGRANA’s strategy of processing agricultural raw materials at the primary stage. It is subject to the approval of the pertinent antitrust authorities.
