AGRANA intends to take over DSF Deutsch-Schweizerische Früchteverarbeitung GmbH, based in Constance, Germany, from its present Swiss owner. This company was originally a part of the ATYS Group. AGRANA’s Board of Management told the staff of DSF about its plans during a meeting of the workforce held today. In addition, AGRANA is in contact with Germany’s competition regulators regarding the terms of the takeover.

DSF makes fruit preparations for the dairy, baked products and ice cream industries.

The DSF Group has production facilities in Constance and Nauen (both Germany). Last financial year, the DSF and its staff of 220 people recorded revenues of about € 60 million.
